 Dear Neighbors,

 A great new year is beginning and the sun is shining.  The neighborhood was once again regaled in holiday lighting this season and children of all ages seemed to enjoy winter’s turn.

 We look back on a productive and successful year in CCHN and made great strides in our landscaping and beautification efforts. We continue to maintain a safe and friendly environment and really appreciate all our neighbor’s efforts to keep a watchful eye out for potential problems.

 Like all neighborhoods we are challenged by cutbacks in the City’s Parks and Rec budget and will address planting of the First Avenue urns at an upcoming Board meeting.  We took over responsibility for the parkways at Franklin, Gilpin and High this year and are really trying to shape them up.  I hope you will consider a donation to these efforts when you renew your CHNN membership.

 The skating party in December was once again a big hit and as spring approaches we are working on some fun new neighborhood activities.  Please send in any ideas you may have.

 The Cherry Creek North Plan is on a lot of neighbor’s minds and we will be sending a survey shortly to our membership to get some input.  Please let us know your thoughts.

 Please consider joining us for our monthly Board Meeting at Guaranty Bank on First Avenue at 5:30 pm on the second Tuesday of every month.
